DPC STAYCATION 2026

Join us at Darebin Presbyterian Church for our 2026 Staycation!

We’re very excited to spend time together over three days. DPC Staycation 2026 is a great opportunity for all ages and stages of our church family to connect with one another, make new friends and have some fun! We will also take time to hear from and reflect on God’s word. Please join us for the full event (or as much as you can).

Speaker - Neil Chambers

Having hit 70, Neil has recently retired as the Senior Minister of Bundoora Presbyterian Church. He has been married to Jayne for 42 years and has three married children and six grandchildren for all of whom he is thankful to God. He is grateful to God for bringing him to trust in our Saviour Jesus while still in primary school and for His heavenly Father’s steadfast love and mercy graciously shown to him throughout his life. As he enters into the years spoken of in Psalm 90 and feels with a renewed immediacy the finiteness of our lives the gospel hope given to forgiven sinners of resurrection in Christ continues to be a joy to know and a privilege to share.

There is no charge and no need to register if you are only attending on Sunday.

Saturday Afternoon Social time

Potential activity ideas include: Board games at church, local bike rides, op shopping, or finding a local park or cafe before afternoon tea with your host.

SATURDAY DINNER (select main in registration form)

Choose one main served with basmati rice:

  • Butter Chicken

  • Chicken Rendang (DF, GF)

  • South Indian Curry (GF, V, VG)

  • Malacca Eggplant (GF, V, VG, low FODMAP)

These mains are catered by the Asylum Refugee Seeker Centre (ASRC).

These are served with sides (papadums/roti/spring rolls), salads and desserts (as provided by DPC).

Kids meal

Choose one main:

  • Hawaiian pizza

  • Margherita pizza

These are served with chips, garlic bread and juice box. Kids are also welcome to the salads and desserts.
